Internship Overview & Applicant Requirements
Mona Dermatology Marketing interns will be exposed to all aspects of our marketing department, including:
- Website & E-Commerce Management
- Social Media Content Creation
- Blogging & SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- Paid Social & Paid Search
- Email Marketing
- Copywriting
- Visual Merchandising
- Graphic Design
- Events
- Marketing Data & Analytics
This position requires close interaction with the Marketing Director and Digital Marketing Coordinator on multi-channel marketing to ensure that our social media, website, collateral, and other communications accurately reflect our brand. This position will also assist with seasonal patient events and other special projects, as needed. In addition to receiving a broad overview of marketing, all interns will also complete an intern project in two focus areas of their choice where they will develop real marketing plans and execute them.
Applicant Requirements
- Must be available for a minimum of an 8 week period.
- Currently enrolled college student majoring in (or considering a career in) Marketing, Business, Communications, or other related field.
- Strong project management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent writing skills; experience writing for social media, email, or blog content is preferred
- Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn management of social media platforms, digital marketing, E-Commerce, email marketing, google analytics, and google ads
- Team player, positive attitude, and ambition to help contribute to a small, collaborative, growing team
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to complete projects under tight deadlines.
- Occasional night and/or weekend work may be required (typically for events).

- We are a small team! As a result, we typically do not have open positions. There is no guarantee that a position will be available upon the completion of your internship, so we do not recommend participating in this internship program in hopes of a job offer.
Can I get credit at my college or university for this internship?
- We do not have formal partnerships with any colleges or universities. We are happy to help provide any documentation needed, however, it is the responsibility of the intern to manage the process with their school if credit is desired.
