- Credentials: Board-certified dermatologist (FAAD)

Career
I have been in private practice in the Cincinnati area as a board-certified dermatologist (FAAD) since 2002. I opened this practice in the Kenwood area in 2006 to create a place where patients would have all their medical and cosmetic dermatological needs met under one roof by a team of caring and professional health care providers and support staff. I hand select every staff member and make sure they believe in our vision: to provide professional and innovative health care in a nurturing environment focusing on the well being of our patients. I am so proud of our team and how we have grown and evolved over the years! I am excited to be the heart and soul of MONA Dermatology and to see my vision for what health care should be come to life.
Education
A little about me: I attended The Johns Hopkins University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history as well as a Masters degree in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health. I then graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and went on to finish my residency in Washington, D.C. at the Washington Hospital Center. I moved back to my hometown of Cincinnati to provide dermatology care to the city that I love and have been blessed with the opportunity to work side by side with my family, Dr. Salem Foad (Rheumatology) and Dr. Wafaa Foad (Internal Medicine). I have two brothers, Dr. Mohab Foad (Orthopedic Hand Surgery) who is also in town at Beacon Orthopaedics, and Dr. Hisham Foad (Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics, San Diego State University). I am a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery.
Personal
I am the proud mom of two amazing, smart, funny and independent young ladies named Miranda & Laila-Marie who are the loves of my life. I also love my fur baby canine, Sugar P (short for Sugar Pizza). Some of you may see Sugar P visit the office as our therapy dog from time to time. My passions include: my kids, running, long walks, cooking, dance class, traveling, spending time with my family, and I even love to garden when I find the time.
My mission has always been to help my patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin and to treat them as I would want my loved ones treated.
