Emi Dougherty, CNP

Career

I began my career as a Registered Nurse in the NICU at Miami Valley Hospital. In 2021, I ultimately decided to shift my focus to dermatology and joined the Mona Dermatology team, where I worked as a Registered Nurse for 2.5 years. I then earned my Masters of Science in Nursing and became a Certified Nurse Practitioner. I am excited to continue in a new role at our office and join our amazing team of cosmetic and medical providers, who I am also fortunate to have as mentors. I am a member of the American Association of Nurse practitioners (AANP).

Education

I graduated with my Bachelors in Science of Nursing from Kettering College. After starting at Mona Dermatology as a nurse, I decided I wanted to continue my education and career in dermatology and returned to Northern Kentucky University to get my Masters of Science in Nursing to become a Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Personal

I am proud to call myself a Cincy native! On the weekends, my husband Maxwell and I like to frequent new restaurants. In the summer, Findlay Market is also one of our favorite spots on a Sunday morning! We love to do anything that involves being outside and in our community.

My mission is to help every individual patient achieve their skin goals, both medically and cosmetically, to allow them to feel confident in their own skin!
