VISIA Complexion Analysis is skin imaging that we offer our patients for free as part of their consultation and treatment appointments. It allows us incomparable visualization of current and developing skin concerns, such as:

What to Expect

Before
We ask that you don’t wear makeup in order to ensure we capture the most accurate photos. If you do come to your appointment with makeup on, cleansing wipes will be provided if needed. The nurse or esthetician helping you will also pull your hair back from your face using a soft headband, explain what to expect, and answer any questions you may have.

During
As with an eye exam, you will place your chin and forehead on the machine frame. The team member assisting you will tell you when the VISIA is about to take your images and you will then shut your eyes and relax. The machine will flash a few times and you will hear slight noises as the machine moves to capture all angles of your face. The entire imaging process takes only a few seconds.

After
Your MONA team member will briefly review and explain your results. If this is your first VISIA, they will point out characteristics such as sun damage, fine lines, and pore size that the imaging has detected. If you have had VISIA images in the past, they will pull up your earlier photos to compare progress.
It is important to remember that the VISIA is ongoing imaging that we provide our patients. We will retake VISIA photos before and after any treatments you receive from us.
